All swimmers, who have high performance in swimming, can announce themselves for the event “International Marathon Swimming Beltquerung”. The final decision has the event organizer. Only  the Sprint-Beltquerung is open for all swimmer. The swimmer is finally invited by the event organizer.
 

Solo-Beltquerung

Distance

The geographically shortest distance is nearly 21 Km. Because of current or  swimming direction can that be more. You can calculate a real swimming distance of nearly 25 Kilometer.

Relays with two swimmers with the same nationality

The swimmer must have a trainer or coach for his attempt.
