Margit Bohnhoff started her Solo-Beltquerung the 18/08./.2005. She had to break it up because of the strong current.

Claudia Markwardt wanted to open a new disciplin 2005. She didn´t swim the planned Doble-Solo-Beltquerung but the single distance. The start was from Fehmarn in direction to Danmark from the beach of Gammendorf. Claudia´s Beltquerung was the 07/08/2005.

The german World- and European Champion in Longdistance Swimming Christof Wandratsch makes the 07/09/2005 a new world record in the Solo-Beltquerung. He needs 05:11 hours for his Beltquerung.
